Services
Kansas State Bands represents the musical tradition and pride of Kansas State University, bringing together concert bands, athletic ensembles, and chamber groups that provide opportunities for students to perform and develop musical skills across more than 210 academic majors. The program includes auxiliary performance units such as the Classy Cats, Twirlers, and Color Guard, each adding distinct visual and musical elements to university athletics and special events.
The band program’s alumni association, founded in 1971, continues the legacy by organizing performances and community engagement among former members. Based at the Tracz Family Band Hall, the program serves as a hub for musical education, rehearsal, and performance that embodies the school’s spirit and traditions.
