Services
K-State Bands encompasses diverse musical ensembles based at Kansas State University in Manhattan, offering concert bands, athletic bands, and chamber groups that provide performance and learning opportunities for students across more than 210 different majors. The program represents the musical tradition and school spirit central to the K-State campus, with auxiliary teams including the K-State Classy Cats, Twirlers, and Color Guard adding visual dimensions to performances at games and university events.
The K-State Alumni Band, founded in 1971, continues that musical legacy by bringing together former band members in ongoing performance and community engagement. Located in the Tracz Family Band Hall at the university, the program serves as a state-of-the-art facility for rehearsal, performance, and development of Kansas State’s musical traditions.
