Cosmosphere

Cosmosphere’s Event Rentals page lists indoor spaces available for private rental, each with a stated capacity: the full facility (430), the Grand Lobby (250–300), the Banquet Room (150–200), the Fee Family Learning Center (100–150), Dr. Goddard’s Lab (80), the Carey Digital Dome Theater and Justice Planetarium (110 each), the Observation Deck (about 30), and the Executive Board Room (16). Listed rental fees range from $200 for the smaller rooms to $5,000 for the full facility. The page does not use the word “wedding”; it describes general private event rentals rather than a wedding-specific package.

In-house rental equipment includes tables, chairs, a podium and built-in screens, with setup and teardown at no extra charge; decor and linens are not included. Renters and their guests receive complimentary same-day passes into the Hall of Space Museum. The Banquet Room has a small kitchen, and the rental inquiry form asks whether the event will have a caterer and whether alcohol will be served, but the page does not state a catering or alcohol policy. Inquiries go through 620-665-9304, rentals@cosmo.org, or an online contact form.

Ask Cosmosphere directly whether it accommodates wedding ceremonies and receptions, and what its catering and alcohol rules are.
