Burning Barrel LLC

The Burning Barrel runs a true farm-to-table operation outside Topeka, growing and raising much of what lands on the plate on its own gardens and pastures. Guests dine amid the elements on an open-air porch that closes up with sliding cedar walls and glass French doors when Kansas weather turns, over a weekly changing menu of seasonal, locally sourced dishes and craft cocktails.

Its Prairie Weddings program treats the landscape itself as part of the ceremony, with the team co-creating a celebration built around the season of a couple’s vows; packages range from small gatherings (“Just Us”) up through larger celebrations (“Everyone Is Invited”). The farm also hosts private events and off-site “Wildfire” gatherings, with its event season generally running May through October.
