Wichita Band Instrument Company has operated as a musical instrument emporium since 1953, with the same ownership since 1963. The shop originally specialized in woodwind and saxophone restoration, and today carries a full range of instruments across three specialized stores under one roof: a main band instrument section, E.M. Shorts Guitars for fretted instruments, and the Wichita Violin Shop featuring a luthier on staff. The team reconditions virtually all instruments sold in-house.
