Maulik Trivedi and Jodi Palmer launched Trivedi Wine after a bicycle tour through German wine regions inspired their passion for winemaking. Operating for five years in Lawrence, the family-owned, small farm winery specializes in crafting wines that appeal to a broad range of tastes—producing white, red, and rosé wines ranging from dry to sweet, along with carbonated wines and ciders. The vineyard features 352 Chardonel grapevines, chosen for their cold-hardiness in Kansas’s continental climate, plus an orchard with apple and pear trees dedicated to cider and perry production.

The winery emphasizes locally sourced ingredients, drawing grapes from eight regional vineyards and orchards spread across five Kansas counties, supplemented by fruit from upstate New York, Washington, California, and Australia when quality opportunities arise. Couples and guests are invited to visit the tasting room on East 1150 Road, open Friday through Sunday, where visitors can experience the welcoming atmosphere and sample the diverse wine portfolio the founders have developed over their years in the wine community.
