The Woodshed Event Center

The Woodshed Event Center stands as a North Topeka landmark with a rich history spanning decades. The property originally housed the Topeka Moose Lodge 555 for over 60 years before the organization relocated to Kansas City in 2016. Adam Moser, a longtime North Topeka resident and business owner, envisioned converting the substantial structure into a premier event venue and purchased it for that purpose. Today, The Woodshed serves as one of Topeka’s largest and most versatile celebration spaces, offering couples multiple options for their wedding ceremonies and receptions.

The venue provides two distinct spaces to accommodate celebrations of different scales. The Moose Ballroom spans 6,000 square feet with a dedicated 1,800-square-foot dance floor, stage, bar, and side room for buffet setup. An adjacent full kitchen supports caterers, and the ballroom accommodates up to 400 guests for formal weddings, banquets, and large celebrations. For more intimate gatherings, Studio 555 offers 3,500 square feet of bar and lounge space with permanent booths and tables, a full bar, and dance floor, suitable for up to 200 guests. The versatile North Topeka location makes The Woodshed accessible for couples throughout Shawnee County.
