The Strand Event Center is a luxury wedding venue in downtown Hays housed in a historic 1917 building featuring original 25-foot tin ceilings, hand-painted stenciling, and a multi-level hardwood floor including the original stage. Recently renovated while preserving its original Victorian character, the venue has been thoughtfully elevated to meet modern event standards while celebrating its historic roots. The elegant space, location on Main Street, and careful attention to architectural detail create a distinctive backdrop for celebrations.

Couples can choose from three tiered packages: Basic rentals start at $1,776 and include day-of and day-after access with tables and chairs; Elevated packages begin at $3,000 and add professional cleaning, staff setup and teardown, champagne, linens, custom drink names, and access to an outdoor patio; Luxury packages start at $5,000 and include crystal service, a $750 bar credit, and additional premium touches. Hourly and weekday rentals are also available, with weekend weddings receiving priority scheduling. All packages provide flexibility to customize your celebration within your budget.
