Ted Ensley Gardens is a Shawnee County Parks and Recreation property on the west side of Lake Shawnee in Topeka, at 3650 SE West Edge Rd. The gardens include a gazebo, pergola and pagoda, paved walking trails and an ADA-accessible deck. The county’s facility page tells visitors to be courteous to other garden guests, noting this applies to weddings and other scheduled events, which confirms weddings are held at the gardens.

The page does not state a rental capacity, indoor/outdoor weather backup plan, catering or alcohol rules, or lodging. Rental questions go through the county parks administration office rather than an online booking system shown on this page.

Ask the parks administration office for the ceremony and reception capacity, the rental fee, permitted hours, and any catering and alcohol rules for the gardens.
