Private Stock

Private Stock is a live dance band based in Overland Park that has performed at weddings, formal galas, corporate events, and celebrations throughout the Kansas City metro for many years. The band members have played major venues from Las Vegas to New Orleans to New York and across Europe, bringing that experience to every event. The team describes their core mission simply: read the room, know your audience, and keep the dance floor full from first song to last.

The band never performs to pre-recorded tracks—every song is live, with the same key members at each performance ensuring consistent quality. They draw from seven decades of popular music, ranging from classic standards to contemporary hits, selecting songs that appeal across generations and dance preferences. The full band handles cocktail hour music, emcees the evening, and can learn special songs couples request. Private Stock arrives completely self-sufficient with their own sound and lighting systems, dressed appropriately for the formality of each event.
