Overland Park Convention Center

Overland Park Convention Center, at 6000 College Blvd, states on its own site that “our indoor and outdoor venue complements any style of wedding, whether you need an event space for your ceremony, reception, or both,” and links a dedicated wedding-venue page. Listed spaces include a roughly 60,000-square-foot exhibition hall, a 25,000-square-foot ballroom divisible into four sections, seven courtyard breakout rooms with 13,000 square feet of pre-function space, and a roughly 25,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard.

The center is fully ADA-compliant, with accessible parking, entrances, elevators and restrooms, plus a KultureCity-approved sensory room; it does not keep loaner wheelchairs on site. A 412-room Sheraton hotel connects directly to the building, with more than 1,000 additional hotel rooms within walking distance. Every licensed room includes setup, a skirted registration table, a riser with lectern, signage, Wi-Fi, free parking and overnight lock. Catering is provided in-house with menu tastings; no alcohol policy or prices are stated. Inquiries go through a contact form, RFP submission, or (913) 439-5382.

Ask about catering and alcohol policies, current room rental pricing, and weather backup for the outdoor courtyard.
