Kate Smith Soirée is a French boutique bakery in downtown Overland Park specializing in handcrafted confections using classical techniques. Owner and lead designer Kate draws from her education in culinary arts and pastry studied in Florence, Italy, with particular expertise in French macarons—a specialty she made her mission to bring to the Kansas City area. The bakery features a rotating selection of fresh pastries, seasonal sweets, custom celebration cakes, and their signature line of premium French macarons, all prepared in-house using high-quality ingredients.

The team includes lead bakers Maddy and Isabella and baker team leader Colton, who work collaboratively to execute custom orders and maintain the rotating in-shop selection. The bakery welcomes custom cake orders for weddings alongside tea party events and special occasions, emphasizing handcrafted quality over mass-produced confections.
