The Green Guitar Folk House is an all-ages listening room in Lenexa where nationally and internationally touring singer-songwriters perform their craft. Founded by Mike Paget in 2014, the volunteer-led venue has established itself as a premier spot for folk, Americana, bluegrass, roots, and country music in the Midwest. Operating from a space at Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church, the venue holds roughly ten shows per year, with opening acts featuring up-and-coming local and regional performers alongside headline talent.

For couples seeking live music entertainment at their wedding or event, the Green Guitar Folk House provides a warm, welcoming setting designed around authentic listening experiences. The all-ages, accessibility-conscious venue offers an alternative to traditional reception entertainment, creating an intimate atmosphere where both musicians and audience thrive. With its volunteer-powered mission to compensate performing artists fairly while delivering superb live music, the Green Guitar Folk House transforms wedding celebrations into memorable musical moments couples will treasure.
