Delano Barbeque Company

Delano Barbeque Company built its Wichita reputation on old-fashioned, slow-smoked barbecue, firing up oak, hickory, and pecan wood each morning to smoke meats the traditional way. Alongside its Douglas Avenue restaurant, the company runs a dedicated catering operation for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and other gatherings, with a downloadable catering menu and a team that handles customized menus and table settings so hosts can focus on their guests.

Catering orders can be placed by phone or through the restaurant’s online ordering system, and the same kitchen that smokes brisket, sliced meats, and sides like green beans, mashed potatoes, and potato salad for dine-in guests supplies the food for private events. For a Wichita wedding, that means couples get barbecue built around the same recipes the restaurant is known for locally, scaled up for a crowd.
