Countryside Chalet centers on four distinct spaces spread across its property in the rolling hills of eastern Kansas: the Chalet itself, a house with a wraparound porch, bridal suite, groom’s room, and groomsmen quarters that sleeps overnight guests across five bedrooms and five bathrooms; the Pavilion, a climate-controlled reception space topping 4,500 square feet with its own caterer’s kitchenette; the Terrace, a landscaped, multi-level ceremony site anchored by a large pergola; and the Garden, an outdoor area suited to photos and casual entertaining.

The Sprigg family has owned Countryside Chalet since 2022 and books it through Weekend, Overnight, and Day packages, with a $2,000 deposit securing a date. Beyond weddings, the venue also hosts engagement celebrations, reunions, anniversaries, and corporate events for guests willing to make the drive into the Linwood countryside between Lawrence and Kansas City.
