Country Girl Flowers traces back to 2014, when owner Nicole Nightengale bought Annie’s Country Gardens Greenhouse and spent a season taking it apart piece by piece to rebuild on Yy Road outside Copeland. The shop officially opened in 2015 and has grown into a combination flower studio, garden center, and bakery, a mix Nightengale describes as a lifelong passion for flowers, baking, gardening, and hard work.

Couples working with Country Girl Flowers can order custom floral arrangements built to request, browse the garden center for trees and potted plants, and add homemade baked goods or catering to the wedding day. The shop keeps regular hours Tuesday through Saturday and is run as a family business out of rural Kansas, southwest of Garden City near Sublette.
