Bigg's BBQ

Bigg’s BBQ sets itself apart through a philosophy that prioritizes the natural flavor of the meat itself. Rather than heavy sauce, the restaurant employs custom dry rubs and hickory smoking to develop rich, complex flavors. What sauce the shop makes—three house varieties—is served on the side so couples and guests can customize their experience. Brisket, pork, ribs, chicken, and sausage all flow through the same technique, creating consistency across the menu.

For wedding catering, Bigg’s brings the same approach to events. Couples can order full platters, sandwiches, or complete catering spreads built around their protein choices. The restaurant offers delivery to most Lawrence addresses within roughly 45 minutes, and maintains regular hours that accommodate weekend rehearsal dinners and weekday event planning. With nearly 1,700 Google reviews backing its approach, Bigg’s has carved a loyal following among couples seeking an alternative to traditional Kansas City-style catering.
