Biemer’s BBQ is a Lawrence institution known for its straightforward approach to smoked meats and casual dining. The shop has earned Best of Lawrence honors for seven consecutive years, a testament to its consistency with brisket, ribs, and pulled-pork sandwiches. Everything is built around house-made dry rubs and slow smoking, with the shop’s philosophy that quality meat doesn’t need heavy sauce. Both dine-in and drive-thru options keep the experience flexible, and local beer rounds out the menu.

For weddings and celebrations, Biemer’s offers catering that brings the same approach to events. Couples can order meat by the pound, family-sized dinners, or full spread options, customized around their guest count and preferences. The straightforward, approachable style of Biemer’s catering fits casual rehearsal dinners, outdoor receptions, or smaller celebrations where good barbecue and relaxed vibes are the priority.
