Operating out of downtown Lawrence since 2008, Beautiful Music Violin Shop is a full-service shop for the violin family — violins, violas, cellos, and basses — run by a team of violin technicians, luthiers, and musicians with more than 50 years of combined experience. Alongside instrument sales and rentals, the shop handles repair, restoration, and bow rehair for both student and fine instruments, and offers lessons in classical and fiddle violin, viola, cello, bass, and piano.

The shop has held repair contracts with USD 497 and several other Kansas school districts, along with the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, KCKCC, Baker University, and Washburn University, and it runs a bow rehair exchange program that makes it simple for schools to keep instruments performance-ready.
