AJ Honey Farms in Salina supplies nucleus colonies (Nucs) of honeybees, selling five-frame bee colonies with mated queens for beekeeping hobbyists and small-scale producers. The bees originate from trusted apiaries in eastern Texas, bred with open-mated genetics that thrive in Kansas conditions. Each colony arrives in a solid wooden box built locally, ready for pickup in Salina, with colonies typically available in mid-April. The company also offers honeybee removal services for those encountering wild hives.

Couples planning outdoor or farm-style weddings in the Salina area can source local honey and support area beekeeping through AJ Honey Farms, while those interested in establishing or expanding hives can start with their proven colonies.
