Adams Alumni Center

Adams Alumni Center is a classical-style brick building on the University of Kansas campus in Lawrence, designed by Kiene & Bradley Architectural Partnership and dedicated in 1983. Named after K.S. “Boots” Adams, a Phillips Petroleum executive and KU alumnus, the center serves as a venue for university events, alumni gatherings, and private celebrations. The building underwent renovation in 2022, which expanded its facilities to include a 30,000-square-foot Welcome Center alongside preserved interior elements—wrought-iron railings, doors, and balusters salvaged from the historic Old Fraser Hall.

The venue contains meeting rooms, banquet spaces, digital displays, and a pub area suitable for rehearsal dinners, receptions, and wedding celebrations. Its campus location on Oread Avenue and access to on-site hotel accommodations make it convenient for guests traveling to Lawrence. The classical architecture and academic setting provide a distinctive backdrop for formal occasions.
