A & H Farm

A & H Farm has been in the same Manhattan family for four generations, tracing back to a grandfather who started farming in the 1940s. Today Andrea and Hugo run the operation — the initials behind the farm’s name — alongside their eight children, growing produce, raising animals, and hosting the public each year for pumpkin patch and u-pick strawberry season. Andrea also serves as president of the Downtown Farmers’ Market of Manhattan, keeping the farm connected to the broader local food scene.

Beyond produce, the farm rents out space for birthday parties, corporate events, and family gatherings, and offers day passes for visitors who just want to explore. The grounds have grown steadily over the years, adding a Kid Zone with a culvert area and rope maze in 2018, an adults-only zone in 2023, a mega slide in 2022, and a field of flowers in 2025, giving couples looking for an outdoor, farm-style event space plenty of scenery and activities to build a celebration around.
