Summary: Spring Hill Schools contracts with First Student, Inc. to provide transportation services within the district. The district provides free bus transportation for students who reside 2.5 miles or more from their school of residence. Pay-to-ride transportation is offered for students living within 2.5 miles of their school on a space-available, first-come, first-served basis. Registration is required and fees must be paid before transportation can begin. Transportation arrangements for special education students will be made to meet their needs. Bus routes will not be created for students who request a transfer from their school of residence. The district provides transportation for students to and from school, as well as curricular and extracurricular activities sponsored by the schools.
