Wichita Wedding Hotel Blocks: Compare Terms Before You Share
A hotel block is an agreement, not just a booking link. Before sharing one with guests, compare the written release date, guest payment responsibility, rooms held, cancellation terms, parking, accessible-room process, and the contact who can answer booking questions. Do not publish a rate or room count until the hotel confirms it for your dates.
Two downtown Wichita options to ask about
Hyatt Regency Wichita lists its address at 400 W. Waterman and says it is connected to Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center. Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview Wichita is at 400 W. Douglas and lists meeting and banquet space. These are concrete downtown starting points, not a claim of wedding-block availability.
Ask every hotel the same questions
| Agreement item | Question |
|---|---|
| Release | When do unreserved rooms return to general inventory? |
| Financial responsibility | Does anyone guarantee unused rooms or deposits? |
| Guest booking | What code, link, phone number, and deadline should guests use? |
| Accessibility and parking | How should guests request an accessible room, and what parking details should they receive? |
| Changes | Who may add rooms, change dates, or resolve an individual reservation? |
Give guests one clear lodging note
List the hotel name, address, booking method, deadline, parking instructions, and transport plan. If you offer more than one option, state which wedding event or meeting point each option serves. Check the hotel’s current confirmation before sending invitations or welcome information.
