Kansas Wedding DJ Costs: Wichita Package Examples

By WeddingInKansas Team

Published DJ prices can be useful only when the hours and equipment are beside the number. These are current examples from Wichita providers, not a Kansas average or a promise that either package will be available for a particular date.

Two Wichita price bases

Complete Weddings + Events Wichita lists its Signature DJ package from $1,195 for one DJ for five hours, with LED dance-floor lighting, a two-speaker sound system, a wireless handheld microphone, setup and teardown, planning tools, announcements, and personalized music choices. Its Signature Plus starts at $1,495 for six hours and adds one hour of ceremony coverage; its Premium starts at $1,895 and lists flex time through midnight, ceremony coverage, and one lighting add-on. The page presents these as starting prices, so ask which add-ons, travel, tax, and overtime apply to your date.

Hi-Fi Productions says its Wichita wedding-DJ packages start at $1,195 and that couples can choose packages or a la carte services. Its public page does not tie that starting price to a stated number of hours or a complete equipment list. Request those details before treating it as comparable to a five- or six-hour package.

Make the comparison usable

Send every DJ the same run-of-show: access and setup time, ceremony start, cocktail hour, reception end, venue address, guest count, and indoor/outdoor locations. Ask for the included DJ/MC hours; ceremony microphones and playback; speaker coverage by space; lighting; backup equipment; travel; overtime rate; setup and teardown; tax; deposit; and cancellation terms. If the ceremony and reception are in separate spaces, ask who moves and retests the sound.

The examples above are provider-published starting prices retrieved September 13, 2026. Confirm the current written quote and inclusions directly with the provider.
