Southeast Kansas Wedding Venues: Sourced Options

This guide covers current, first-party wedding information from Pittsburg, Parsons and Chanute. Compare the written event window, layout and vendor rules before you compare the setting.

Memorial Convention Center — Pittsburg

The City of Pittsburg’s Memorial Convention Center at 503 N. Pine lists wedding packages and an onstage ceremony option in its 1,500-plus-seat auditorium. Its published basic package starts at $1,500 plus a $500 damage deposit when a bar is used, includes 10 rental hours and specified linens, portable bar, keg cooler, platforms and A/V equipment. A deluxe package starts at $2,200 plus the same stated bar deposit and includes 14 rental hours. City of Pittsburg: Weddings and Celebrations

Ask: Which rooms, staffing and bar arrangements are included at your selected package price, and whether the auditorium ceremony can be paired with the reception without changing the event window.

Cedar Tree Barn — Parsons

Cedar Tree Barn identifies itself as a wedding and event venue at 1614 18,000 Rd. in Parsons. The site gives a direct wedding-and-event contact but does not publish guest capacity, rental price, catering or alcohol policy, or an indoor rain plan on the page reviewed. Cedar Tree Barn
