Hotel Wedding Venues in Kansas: A Sourced Shortlist

By WeddingInKansas Team

Hotel venues can combine an event room with guest rooms, but wedding capacity and room-block terms are separate commitments. These three Kansas hotels publish wedding or event information on their own sites.

Three hotel options

Hyatt Regency Wichita — Wichita

Hyatt Regency Wichita at 400 West Waterman advertises weddings and celebrations from 50 to 600 guests. Its events page lists the Grand Eagle Ballroom and Riverview Ballroom, whose terrace overlooks the Arkansas River, along with wedding catering. See Hyatt Regency Wichita weddings.

Ask which capacity applies to your floor plan, guest-room block terms, catering minimums, bar policy, and current wedding package price.

Hotel at Old Town — Wichita

Hotel at Old Town is a boutique hotel in Wichita’s historic Keen Kutter warehouse. It identifies The Vail as its wedding venue with indoor space, outdoor patio, open catering, in-house bar service, and seating for up to 500; it also offers hotel blocks and honeymoon suites. Review Hotel at Old Town weddings.

Ask how The Vail’s capacity changes with your dining and dance floor, what bar service entails, room-block cutoff and attrition terms, and whether the patio is exclusive to your event.

Eldridge Hotel — Lawrence

The Eldridge Hotel is in downtown Lawrence and accepts wedding inquiries through its meetings-and-events form. It lists the Crystal Ballroom, Big 6 Room, Executive Conference Room, and All American Room, as well as additional Eldridge Extended spaces, and identifies an on-site catering contact. See Eldridge meetings and events.

Ask which spaces are available for the ceremony, dinner, and reception; room-block details; capacity for each layout; catering and bar terms; parking; and the current quote.

Compare the whole hotel plan

Get the event proposal and room-block agreement together. Confirm resort or parking fees, accessible rooms, check-in timing, event loading, guest transportation, and what happens if the room block is not filled.
